At Ignite, our goal is to transform dancers into powerhouse performers through tailored strength and conditioning programs designed specifically for the demands of dance.

 

Our mission is to elevate every dancer's performance by:

  • Building strength

  • Improving flexibility

  • Enhancing performance

 

We address the unique needs of dancers by combining the fundamentals of strength and conditioning with a deep understanding of dance biomechanics and artistry.

 

Through strengthening the muscles and joints, correcting imbalances, improving alignment and delaying fatigue, dancers are able to move safely for longer. 

 

Our training improves core strength, flexibility, balance, endurance and power, enhancing all aspects of a dancer's performance.

ABOUT NICOLE 

As a qualified Pilates Instructor, professionally trained Dance Teacher and soon to be certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, Nicole integrates pilates and strength training principles to help dancers of all levels excel and reach their full potential.

 

With over 15 years of experience in the dance industry, including 3 years of elite level full time professional dance and teacher training at Lee Academy and 8 years of dance teaching and private coaching of all age groups and dance genres, Nicole brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for developing the next generation of dancers into strong, resilient and confident performers.

 

Her coaching focuses on enhancing dancers’ performance by improving strength and flexibility. Nicole understands that every dancer is unique and strives to meet their individual needs.

Nicole's qualifications include:

- ASCA (Australian Strength and Conditioning Assoc.) Certification - Level 1 (In progress)

- Diploma of Professional Dance (Elite Performance)

- Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management

- Certificate IV in Dance

- Pilates Certification (Matwork)
